Banquet Was Another Success!!!

The Woods and Waters Club held its 54th annual banquet on February 22, 2005 at the Croatian Lodge in Eastlake. We honored Adam Grimm as our "Man of the Year" and Joe DiGiacomo as recipient of the "Presidents Award". Grimm, an young artist who has returned financial support to the outdoors, donated a work of art to be auctioned off during the banquet. Robert Sichau was the successful bidder for a original print titled "Bountiful Heritage" with a bid of $1,125.
A total of 37 firearms were awarded during the evening. Below is a list of the firearms winners. It should be noted that first prize drawn was a pistol raffle, a Taurus Raging Bull Stainless 44 Mag 6 1/2 pistol, won by Wayne LeClair of North Royalton and the last prize, The Grand Prize of the main raffle, a Limited Edition 150th Anniversary SKB 12 GA. Model 585 O/U Shotgun. was won by Wayne LeClair of North Royalton. How About That!! Word was that Wayne was "Dumbstruck" at his good fortune.
The many volunteers who worked at and on the banquet created another success for the club and our Presidents Foundation. Kudos to their hard work with a special "tip of the hat" to the ever hardworking Cathy Kowalczyk, Paul Karla, next years banquet chairman and Jim Faddoul, the ticket master.
Next year's date has been selected and will be announced soon, so stay tuned.
