The President’s Scholarship foundation of the
Woods and Waters Club of Northern Ohio

The Woods and Waters Club of Cleveland President’s Scholarship Foundation, Inc. was fathered by Mr. Harry L. Davis with the encouragement of many of the Past Presidents of the Woods and Waters Club. Its single purpose is to make possible the aiding of young people in the acquisition of a secondary education that would help in the maintenance and improvement of our collective outdoor heritage.

It has as its first purpose the awarding of grants to worthy students pursuing outdoor related subjects such as forestry, park management, botany, wildlife management, fisheries management and other similar subjects. Each year starting with the second year of its existence the earnings from our invested principle funds have been used to award two scholarships to local students.

The scholarship is funded in part from the proceeds from the Woods and Waters Club Annual Banquet.

Very sizeable donations have also been received from the Fassnacht Family (Sportsman Show) in memory of Mr. David Fassnacht and from our support of Whitetails Unlimited.

Your contribution to the fund will make it possible to continue the work of the foundation and the Woods and Waters Club. The Foundation is a 501.c.(3) tax exempt group.
