YOUTH FLY FISHING & SAILBOAT COMPETITION FOR AGES 9 – 18 ROCKWELL SPRINGS TROUT CLUB JULY 1, 2002 9:30 am – 1:00 pm FLY FISHING Youth Fee $15.00 Includes fishing & picnic lunch Adult Fee $9.00 Picnic lunch only Fish Caught $3.50 per pound (payable to Rockwell, day of event) Rules of the Day 1)Rockwell will provide rods, nets & creels 2)Each fly rod will be furnished with a fly at the beginning of the day, if you lose it, you will be charged to replace it 3)YOUTH ONLY allowed to fish 4)Each youth must be accompanied by an adult 5)Rockwell staff will be available for instruction if needed 6) Fishing begins at 9:30 a.m., until noon SAILBOAT COMPETITION Sponsored by the Northcoast Ohio Chapter of the Antique & Classic Boat Club & Woods & Waters Club. The Sailboat Competition will be held after Fly Fishing at Noon ( with lunch to follow) Here's What To Do: 1)Reserve & receive your boat kit by June 1st 2)The boat is a kit. The hull is already built. Simply attach the sail & paint the boat using at least two colors. Sail may also be painted. 3)Awards will be given for the Top 3 winners of the race & for the Top 3 winners for painting the sailboat 4)Only ONE boat per child, child that completes the boat, must be same child that attends the event 5)Cost of the Sailboat is $5.00 which will be refunded to you when you bring your boat to the event on July 1st. DIRECTIONS TO ROCKWELL……..From Cleveland take Route2 (I-90) West to Castalia exit,Route 101. Go south(left) through Castalia to the edge of town & follow Rt. 101 approx. 3 miles beyond the sharp right hand turn. Turn right on Vickery Road.
