SAILBOAT COMPETITION |

FOR AGES 9 – 18 |

The Northcoast Ohio Chapter of the Antique & Classic Boat Club in conjunction with Woods & Waters Club will be sponsoring a Sailboat contest. Sailboats that will be constructed by the kids will be raced & judged at the Rockwell Springs Trout Club on July 1, 2002. Woods & Waters will hold it's Annual Youth Fly Fishing event on this day from 9:30 am – 12:00pm. The Sailboat contest will be at noon with a lunch to follow. Reservations for fishing & lunch will be taken at a later date. However, if your child would like to participate in the Sailboat Contest, you will need to act on this soon so they have time to complete the boat. On a future reservation form, your child can sign up for any combination of fishing, lunch &/or the Sailboat contest. Lunch will also be available for parents/grandparents that will be accompanying the child. |

Cost of the Sailboat will be $5.00 each (this will be refunded to you when you bring your finished boat to the event on July 1, 2002.) The boat is a kit. The hull is already built. Simply attach the sail & paint the boat using at least 2 colors. Sails may also be painted. |

Awards will be given for the Top 3 winners of the race and for the Top 3 winners for painting the sailboat. ALL WINNING BOATS WILL BE ON DISPLAY AT THE JANUARY 2003 CLEVELAND IX BOAT SHOW!!!! |

1)RESERVE & RECEIVE YOUR BOAT KIT BY MAY 15, 2002. |
|
2)FILL IN THE FORM & RETURN WITH PAYMENT AS SPECIFIED. FILL OUT ONE FORM PER CHILD. ( ONLY ONEBOAT PER CHILD,PLEASE) |

3)REMEMBER THAT THE RESERVATION FORM FOR THE FLY FISHING PORTION OF THIS EVENT WILL BE ISSUED ATA LATER DATE. |

4)COMPLETE YOUR BOAT FOR THE JULY 1, 2002 COMPETITION. |

5)THE CHILD WHO COMPLETED THE BOAT, MUST BE THE SAME CHILD THAT ATTENDS THE EVENT!! |
