2004 “Presidents Award”


Paul Karla

Paul joined the Woods and Waters Club
Approximately ten years ago and has served as Trustee and Club Secretary.  He also has the responsibility of being “Prizemaster” for the Annual Banquet and other Club events. He is active in other affiliated organizations serving as Treasurer with the National Wild Turkey Federation and on the Whitetails Unlimited Banquet Committee. He is a native of Cleveland, growing up in Parma. He graduated from Parma Senior High School and Cuyahoga Community College.  Paul is an avid boater and fisherman and fishes the Lake Erie Island area out of Catawba.  He also enjoys hunting and shooting sports. He is employed at the National Aeronautics and Space Administration’s Glenn Research Center as a Procurement Manager.  Paul has been in Government service for 34 years.  He and his wife Susan currently reside in Medina Township and are the parents of four children.  They have two grandsons.

Community Outreach

 The Woods and Waters Club of Northern Ohio through the Contributions Committee supported numerous organizations and activities in 2003.  To facilitate their outreach programs, funding and equipment was provided to the following:
